ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL

“My fascination with the natural world goes back to my childhood in rural Western New York State while growing up along majestic and mysterious Lake Ontario. Childhood meant walking the creeks, fields, and woods - I was always immersered in nature with All creatures great and small. Later in life birds, as well as other flora and fauna, became an important part of my visual practice and while enrolled at Louisiana State University’s printmaking department, which shared a building with the LSU Museum of Natural History, I could spend hours going through the collection- drawing and imagining fantastical stories. To this day I attempt to look through the minds-eye of these beautiful creatures and these are the images I create.”
